Hydroponics is a little technical as compared to soil farming and especially for beginners. There are lots of ways you can ruin your hydroponic crops. But, there are also ways you can save those crops if you take timely action. This would only be possible if you are a member of a highly active and supportive Facebook group for hydroponics.
So, in this article I am going to tell you the top 10 facebook groups that I joined myself and would recommend you to join as well for a better hydroponics journey. You will not believe how easy these groups will make the whole process.
Before we begin I want to mention some common aspects of all these groups and things that you should keep in mind while being part of any of these hydroponic facebook communities.
- Make sure you read the rules before joining. Do not violate any group rules otherwise, you will be kicked out instantly.
- If you are someone who writes a blog like me, then do not just dump your posts on the group. Take permission from the admin first.
- Most groups forbid link sharing of any kind.
- In Facebook groups there are people from all around the world, do not make any comment that could hurt others.
How to Use Facebook Groups?
If you have any doubt, then most of you will write a post in the group and wait for the kind people to give their opinion. This sometimes can take hours and days at a stretch while you are looking for an instantaneous solution. For this, I would recommend you to use the search feature of the Facebook group.

Type in your search keyword, like Mars Hydro, grow light or Mother Nutrient solution, and Facebook will return you with all the posts and comments that contain your query. So, this way you might get faster query resolution.
The second one is like finding a hidden gem. Maybe you are a beginner and don’t know anything or an expert looking for some extra resource material. Then the Files section of the Facebook groups is your favourite buddy.
I cannot tell you how many times the files section of Facebook groups have helped me even before I got into that trouble. Because people have already gone through that problem they tend to create a solution and share it with others in the hydroponics community. So, in the files section, you can get some great resources.
These handy tips will help you make a reputation of your own in hydroponics Facebook groups and people will be head over heels to help you out whenever in need.
